Created by Napoleon in the 19th century to train the nation's elite, the French Grande Ecole system ensures the highest quality education in France through its rigorous selection process and outstanding faculty. Our mission is to have an impact: an impact on your future career, an impact on corporate practices, an impact on the academic world, and an impact on society and economy as a whole. This idea drives our programmes, our teaching methods, and our research. Research plays the nodal role so as to achieve this mission.
EDHEC's unique policy of "EDHEC for Business" has earned the School international distinction through research partnerships with leading companies such as Alternative Funds. This implies that research must have an impact on business and society. This means that research goes beyond its traditional role of expanding scientific knowledge. Research prominently contributes to develop new course contents taught at the school.
Research irrigates all of our programmes. Our researchers publish in top ranked academic journals, but they also release their results to the business community through conferences and position papers. EDHEC research conferences in finance and economics are the ones that convene the largest number of business participants in Europe.According to an independent body, our faculty has been the most cited in continental Europe within the business press during the past three years.
You will gain valuable company insight through a number of internships in France or abroad. Our partner network consists of numerous companies that recruit our students, teach in our programmes, take our courses and finance our research. The recognition of EDHEC and its students by the industry is our prime objective.
The EDHEC Career Centre's objective is to develop students' talents and competencies to successfully find their first international position. EDHEC is the only school in France to have developed a programme involving the sourcing and coaching of talents in the Talent Identification & Career Development programme. This unique programme is an integrated part of the curriculum and involves regular meetings and workshops to provide the necessary training to boost students' weaknesses and build on strengths.
